Stalactite
Inspired by melting icicles, Stalactite was designed with big, bold cables that stand out regardless of whether you use a multicolor, solid or tonal yarn.
Pattern includes instructions for a bulky version and a heavy worsted version. Version 1 (bulky) measures 21” at the brim to fit a head size 22-23”. Version 2 (heavy worsted) measures 19” at the brim to fit a head size 20-21”.
Supplies
• Knitted Wit Bulky | Superwash Merino | 130 yards per 100g | 260 yards

• Knitted Wit Worsted | Superwash Merino | 200 yards per 100g | 200 yards
• US Size 8/5mm (16”) circular needle*
• US Size 8/5mm DPNs*
• Cable needle
• Darning needle to weave in ends
• Stitch marker
Gauge: 18.3 stitches and 23 rows over 4” in pattern (bulky) – or - 20.2 stitches and 27 rows over 4” in pattern (worsted)
Can also be worked on a size 9/5.5mm needle for a little extra room
