Standup Snowmen
This pattern is available as a
free Ravelry download
These cute snowmen wobble but they don’t fall down. They were inspired by the flat bottom of Sam Snowman, the narrator from “Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer”. They’re also a great way to use up left over bits of sock yarn.
The body is knit in a DK or sport weight boucle, or any other fancy yarn of that weight. The scarves and hats are leftover bits of sock yarn.
I’ve written instructions for two sizes – approx 4” and 2.5” tall, not including the hats. You can make them bigger by using a heavier weight yarn and bigger needles.
