Stansbury Mountains Neck Gaiter
The Stansbury Mountains lie south of the Great Salt Lake but are mostly overlooked by Salt Lakers because they can’t really be seen over the Oquirrhs. The mountain range is named for Howard Stansbury who was a major in the Army Corps of Topographical Engineers and led a two-year expedition in 1849 to survey the Great Salt Lake. With high peaks (the highest over 11,000 feet), a great network of hiking trails, and a mix of coniferous and deciduous trees it is a diverse and beautiful place to spend a chilly autumn day.
Thanks to the following people for their free cable patterns that I was able to modify for this pattern.
