This hat was inspired by Star Anise which is one of my favorite spices. It’s mild flavor is great for teas and cookies.

SIZE:
To fit head circumference 20-22” / 51-56 cm; finished brim circumference 17” / 44 cm; depth 9”/ 22.5 cm.
MATERIALS:
o US 3 and US 4 (3.25 mm and 3.5 mm) circular needle (long enough for “magic loop”) or dpn’s
o stitch markers
o tapestry needle
YARN: Madelinetosh tosh sport {100% merino 270 yards/247 meters per 100g} – 1 skein or other sport weight yarn to obtain gauge. Sample shown in colorway Dried rose
GAUGE: 24 sts x 30 rows=10 cm/4 inches in stitch pattern using larger needle
