Note about the pattern:
Worked entirely in the round, you will begin with the top of the body and then to the bottom. The head is made seperate and then sewn on. All four limbs are worked in the round as well, beginning at the top of the limb and worked to the hands/feet and then attached to the body with the tail from the cast on.
Techniques used:
cast on
knit
Kfb – knit through the front and back of the stitch
M1 – make one stitch
K2tog – Knit two stitches together
K3tog – Knit three stitches together
Materials & Tools
Worsted Weight yarn
Needle size 6 (4 mm)
tapestry needle (for weaving in ends)
safety eyes OR craft eyes OR buttons
polyfil
Gauge
You want a tight fabric when knitting toys so the polyfil won’t poke through.
