Star Gazing Cardigan is a lightweight raglan, worked seamlessly from the bottom-up, with a lace detail along the front of each side of the cardigan as well as the bottom of the sleeves. The cardigan drapes loosely around the body with overlapping front panels, and uses waist shaping to ensure a feminine fit. Pattern includes instructions for an optional sash to pair with the cardigan.
Pattern Difficulty Intermediate: Pattern uses increases and decreases, knitting in the round, grafting with Kitchener Stitch, and lace knitting. Pattern is written to accommodate a wide range of skill levels.
Yarn: approximately 1324 {1432, 1520, 1628, 1716, 1824} yards / (1210 {1309, 1390, 1488, 1570, 1668} meters) in Light Sport or Fingering weight yarn

Note on Fit: Cardigan is intended to fit with 3” (7.5 cm) of positive ease as well as having approximately 14” (36 cm) of overlapping fabric at the front. The photo with the schematic has the finished measurements, which include the ease and overlapping fabric. (Ex., if your bust is 46” / 117 cm, knit the x-large size, which has a finished measurement of 63” / 160 cm).
