Star Jasmine Wrap
This pattern was originally published as Weird Sisters’ contribution to the 2022 Rose City Yarn Crawl, February 24th – 27th, 2022 in Portland, Oregon. This pattern is available for download as part of the 2022 Pattern Collection: Bloom.
This parallelogram-shaped crocheted stole evokes star jasmine and similarly delicate fresh spring greens and blossoms.
The wrap features rows of star stitch and mesh alternating with half-double crochet in a 6-row repeat. The main color is offset with paired, contrasting stripes to showcase two colors of Thistle & Hart Thistle Sock yarn.
The wrap is worked from one short end to the other, so the top and bottom are similar, though not identical. The wrap is finished with a simple edging with optional groupings of tiny, sprig-like fringe.
