This is a free crochet pattern designed for begginer crocheters. In this pattern, we will be using the following stitches in US terminology:

• Magic ring ( mr )
• Single crochet ( sc )
• Increase ( inc )
• Double crochet ( dc )
• Treble crochet ( tc )
• Slip stitch ( sl st )
• Chain ( ch )

Using a larger hook with correspondingly thicker yarn will make this beautiful keychain bigger, but I personally have used these hooks and other materials:

• 6 mm / US Worsted/ UK Aran yarn for an 8 cm/ 3.15 inch star
• 3.5 mm / US Sport/ UK 4 Ply yarn for a 6 cm/ 2.36 inch star
• 3.5 mm/ US E-4/ UK 9 crochet hook
• 5 mm/ US H-8/ UK 6 crochet hook
• keychain ring
• Yarn needle
