This Knit Along is inspired by the a spectacular star filled image of the “Pillars of Creation” region of the far away Eagle Nebula captured by the James Webb Space Telescope’s “Near Infrared Camera”.

We asked NASA for, and were granted, permission to use this image to promote the Knit Along and also to display as our inspiration photo for a fantastic yarn color kit we hope will capture something of the magic of this image.

The Pillars of Creation region is known as a “star nursery” because stars actually form there from the gases and dust of the region and then are expelled into the cosmos. So cool!
