This crochet pattern has 78 colour pages giving detailed instructions on how to plan and crochet a Star Temperature Poncho. A contents list can be seen in the photos. It is a detailed step by step guide that will take you right from collecting temperature data and choosing colour palettes right through to row by row written instructions and photos for crocheting your poncho and finishing off.

The pattern includes colour photos, planning sheets, useful weblinks, several “pre-loaded” printable Temperature Poncho shade card templates in ºF and ºC as well as two blank Temperature Blanket shade card templates for your own temperature ranges.

This Temperature Poncho is worked in UK treble (US dc) stitches. Instructions are given for working both in the round for historical temperature data and point by point for current temperature data. It is a moderate pattern and is suitable for crocheters with some experience.

The poncho pictured has been crocheted with 10 x 100g balls of DK yarn in 10 different colours (1 of each) for temperature increments and 2 x 100g balls of DK for the yoke/border/blank days. The pattern requires a 4mm or 4.5mm hook.
