This design is my entry for Francrochet’s 9th Guerre des mailles (War of stitches). The theme for this war is: happiness is in the little things.

If happiness is in the little things, then we are definitely talking about babies! I wanted to create a little friend for my sister’s baby girl. And a cat was an obvious choice for me. With his little arms and the cute star-shaped Granny blankey, it is the perfect friend for little babies.

This pattern is using US terms.

What does this pattern contain:

• The written instructions to make your own kitty lovey
• Pictures to help you through the design

What are the sizes included:

• This pattern is one size. Height of the lovey (from the tip of the ears to the bottom of the blanket) : 9,5 inches (24 cm) Width of the blanket portion: 11 inches (28 cm)

What is the difficulty level of this pattern:

• Intermediate. Pretty easy to make, as long as you are comfortable with the basic stitches! Of course, you also need basic sewing skills to assemble your project.

For this pattern, you will need to know:

• how to chain
• how to slip stitch
• how to make a single crochet
• how to make a half double crochet
• how to make a double crochet
• how to increase
• how to decrease
• how to assemble a project by sewing
• how to embroider basic lines
• how to work in the round

Star le chaton câlin

Présentation:

Ce design est ma participation pour la 9ième Guerre des mailles de Francrochet. Le thème pour cette guerre: le bonheur est dans les petites choses.

Si le bonheur est dans les petites choses, alors nous parlons définitivement des bébés! Je voulais créer un petit ami pour la fille de ma soeur. Et le chat fût pour moi un choix évident. Avec ses petits bras et sa jolie couverture Granny en forme d’étoile, c’est l’ami parfait pour les petits bébés.

Que contient ce patron:

• Des photos pour vous aider réaliser votre projet

Quelles sont les tailles incluses:

• Ce patron est taille unique. La hauteur du chaton (du bout des oreilles jusqu’au bas de la couverture) : 9,5 pouces (24 cm) Largeur de la couverture: 11 pouces (28 cm)

Niveau de difficulté du patron:

• Intermédiaire. Assez facile à réaliser, en autant que vous soyez confortable avec les points de base! Et bien sûr, vous aurez aussi besoin de techniques de base en couture pour assembler votre projet.
