Skill level: INTERMEDIATE
You should know the basic stiches: chain stitch, single crochet, slip stitch, double crochet. All the other sticthes used in the pattern are explained.

This pattern is written in standard American terms and includes lot of photos of the process.

Pattern includes instructions for 4 different sizes: XS(S,M,L).

The length is adjustable.

Materials:
2 different colors, In total 14(16,18,20)oz / 400(450,500,550)g yarn for the Vest of which 50g / for the star. In total in meters> 400(450,500,550)m / 437(500,550,610) yds.
Yarn is Chunky/5/Bulky weight yarn (Aran/4). The Vest in the pictures are made with Mondial Bio Soft 100% cotton>100g/3.5oz=140m/153yds, Other suggestion for example> Cascade yarns ecological wool: 250g/3.5oz =437m/478yds, Cascade yarns Nevado, Paintbox yarns simply chunky, King Coles chunky tweed, Cascade 128 superwash, Katia Maxi merino.
* Crochet hook: 5mm / US>H/8 / UK> 6 and edging 4.5mm/7

Gauge:
With size 5mm / US>H/8 / UK> 6 crochet hook > 14dc and 7rows measures 4”x 4”/10cmx10cm. Use ant hook to obtain the gauge.
