Star Wars blanket squares are difficult to find, so I created this granny square of the Imperial logo. This pattern is worked in the round until the last two rows, allowing the design to remain circular while the square edging provides the necessary shape to incorporate this afghan block into any blanket project you might be working on.

Following this pattern will result in a 9.5 or 12 inch square. A different size may be achieved by using a different sized hook or by adding rows.

To work this pattern you will need a G (4mm) or H (5mm) hook. You will also need two different colors of yarn, though you will not use the entire skein of either color.
