Star Wars Pillow
IMPORTANT NOTES:
Yarn: Red Heart Super Saver, one ball of each of the following: Red, green, blue, yellow, brown (or grey), black.
Level: Easy
Gauge: 3 stitches by 3 rows = 1 inch (Gauge doesn’t matter a whole lot with this pattern; however, if you want to end up with the same size that I did, I would suggest using it)
Finished length: Approximately 12 by 18 inches.
EXTRA IMPORTANT NOTES: You will need to know how to switch colors with yarn with single crochet. This is also called tapestry crochet. In order to do this, after drawing up an loop in a single crochet stitch, you use the next color to draw through the two loops. This is quite easy, but takes a little to get used too. It creates a much cleaner stitch then if you just use single crochet.
You will be making two rectangles, one with each of the following patterns. As you can see, the first one begins with a couple rows of black, whereas the other starts right away with color.
