Textured coaster (does not affect the stability of the cup/glass) providing a pretty alternative and protection for your coffee table.

The pattern has a set of stitches which includes the picot stitch. This stitch can be omitted if you don’t intend to block the coasters to a point.

The pattern is worked over 3 rows, so doesn’t require a huge amount of time or yarn.

I found that blocking helped them keep their shape, but starching improved this process.
