Cool seasons are here and many knitters will be busy making winter gears for themselves, family members and friends. It is never too many hats in my collection, if I had 100 hats, it means I would have different hat for every winter day. But most of my knitted hats become gifts as soon as I have a visitor or guest.
It is usually quick project, with little amount of yarn yardage, which is made over one or couple evenings and gives great satisfaction to anybody who would use it.

Starcluster - is an elegant hat, knitted in star stitch. The star pattern usually creates solid, thick fabric with tones of texture. It limits the stretch of the fabric and the best part of it - it prevents the item from deforming.
Most common star stitch is 3 stitches knitted out of 3 stitches. For this hat the star stitch knitted 3 different ways in order to make unique lay out and illusion of braid cable.
The suggested yarn is Admiral Starke 6 by Shoppel. It is sport weight of 75% superwash wool and 25% nylon. It is, simply, admirable! Soft and pleasant to the skin.
