Stardust Socks Toe Up
Stardust Socks
Whimsical Stranded colourwork with a touch of special texture. These socks are cozy and beautiful!
They are constructed toe up, and include a gusset and heel flap heel construction. I have written these for 4 sizes.
The colourwork charts are offered in original and inverse colours for ease of reading no matter what colours your choose.
The socks can be knit with the colourwork at the toe, or the cuff….AND some of the amazing testers even did both! Make sure to check out all the projects for some serious inspiration.
And because I love extra, there are three options for texture: bobbles, purl bumps, or satisfying stockinette.
You can truly customize your Stardust Socks!
Skills Required

Materials
Sample Yarn Used:
2 x 100 g/400 yds, Crux Fibres, 100% BFL 2-ply, MC in Midnight Genius (dark teal), CC in Rose Gold (pale pink).
Yardage: 300 (350, 410, 460) yds/274 (320, 375, 420) m TOTAL fingering weight yarn. Yardage is an estimate and is impacted by yarn used, knitter’s gauge, length of sock foot and/or leg knitted.
A standard sock set with a 100g main skein and a 20g mini skein should be sufficient for all sizes. If you choose to do the colourwork at the toe AND cuff, you will need more CC yardage.

Gauge: 34 sts/48 rnds = 10 cm/4”, in the rnd, in st st, AND 34 sts/36 rnds = 10 cm/4”, in the rnd, in stranded colourwork. (Colourwork chart is approx. 8.75 cm/3.5” long.)
