This free starfish softie crochet pattern is designed to work with any yarn as long as you choose a hook size that will give you a tight single crochet fabric. My samples were made in bulky yarn (about 100 yds) with size H, light worsted (about 95 yds) with size E, and sock/fingering (about 90 yds) with size B.
