Starflower Beret
by Jen Adams
Starflower is a slouchy style beret knitted in the round and fits an adult woman.
An interlocking vine pattern moves up the sides and develops into an eleven-pointed star on the crown of the beret.
Knit in Filatura Di Crosa Zara it would work equally well in any 8ply/DK weight yarn that has a tight twist and good stitch definition.
If you are substituting yarns, I recommend a pure wool or wool-rich blend to ensure the rib remains springy and the lace holds it’s shape once blocked.
