Starflower Pixie Beanie
Pixie Hat in newborn size
Gauge 4 in / 10cm – 20 stitches
You will need a skein of DK weight yarn and the needles to obtain the gauge. 4.5mm needles usually work for most. Please make a gauge swatch.
This pattern works best if the yarn you choose is smooth, with great stitch definition, in a solid color. The flower pattern itself is quite “busy” and it looks best when all is knit in one solid color.
Since this hat is knit flat, you can use any knitting needles you like.
Also you will need a darning needle to weave in ends and sew the back of the hat.
