This pattern works for both 3 1/4” and 2 1/2” plastic easter eggs. Use a 1.5 mm hook and 14 yds of size 10 crochet thread for a 3 1/4” egg, and a 1.25 mm hook and 12 yds of size 20 crochet thread or #8 embroidery thread for a 2 1/2” egg.
