MATERIALS
Fingering Weight (#1) Yarn | Daisy Stitch Co Fibers in Sparkle Fingering | Approx. 850 yards
Crochet Hook Size G | 4mm (or size to obtain gauge)
Scissors
Tape Measure
Tapestry Needle

GAUGE: 20 HDC (10 Star Stitch) x 12 rows = 4 inches (Unblocked)

Ch(s) – Chain(s)
HDC – Half Double Crochet
Prev – Previous
Rep – Repeat
RS – Right Side
Sk - Skip
Sl – Slip

SPECIAL STITCH - STAR STITCH

NOTES

1. Read the pattern carefully before starting.
2. This pattern is worked flat, sideways.
3. The turning ch 1 and ch 2 do not count as a st.
4. The gauge for this pattern is not that important. With this being said, the pattern can be easily customized to the size you like, how big or wide it may be. Also, you can use different yarn weights but when you do, adjust also the crochet hook size according to the size in the yarn label.
5. Remember, when working on the Star Stitch, always count the loops on your hook before pulling through 6 loops on the hook.
6. To avoid making mistakes and ripping off your work, always make sure that your Star Stitches are aligned vertically. Please see the photo on the last page.
7. You increase/decrease 1 Star Stitch in every other row.
