Get your beads out! This is your chance to really bling it up… Either use clear glass or crystal like these samples, or choose a colour to complement your yarn. Can’t decide? Choose MANY colours, and make a starry rainbow or a bead fade :)

Uses 224 beads and 200yd 3-4ply fingering weight, OR, 210 beads and 170yd 8-10ply DK/worsted weight, of merino/wool or a fancy blend. Check your bead size with a doubled strand of the yarn you plan to use. The bead should slide onto the yarn easily and rest in place.

Samples pictured are 3-4ply (light) and 8-10ply (dark).

You will need 3mm & 3.5mm on 40cm cable needles for the fingering weight version or 3.5mm and 4.5mm on 40cm cable for the DK/worsted option. Also, DPNs or a longer cable to magic loop the crown. Size will fit most adults/teens, and can easily be adjusted in height to suit personal ‘slouch’ preference.
