Starry Night Hat is a classic beanie style hat, using worsted weight yarn, and simple stranded colorwork incorporating one contrasting color. The sample was knit with approximately 2/3rd skein of Cascade 220 Superwash and less than half of a skein of the same yarn in a contrasting color. The ribbed band stretches comfortably from 19-22”, making it a good fit for a teenager, medium size woman or a smallish man. All pattern instructions are written rather than charted. Using the size 9 needle for the body of the hat results in a quick knit.
