This tote is great for the beach, to use as a knitting bag or for any general use. It is easy to make and fun to carry with a patriotic theme. Canvas is added to the top with grommets and twisted yarn cord for handles and decoration. Instructions are given for both hand and machine.

US#10 needle or best needle for gauge (for hand knitting)
OR 8mm-9mm knitting machine in correct tension for gauge - with tools (for machine knitting)

1/4 yd canvas for top of bag
1/2 yd cotton for lining
Dritz 1/2” (center hole) grommets (with tool included) - 8 count
