MATERIALS: Pearl crochet cotton no. 5, ecru, ca 425 yds (80 g). Steel crochet hook US size 0 or SIZE FOR GAUGE.

GAUGE: Rnds 1-4 = 2” in diameter. For mat measuring about 13” in diameter, use crochet cotton no. 30 and steel crochet hook US size 11

A round doily in 35 rounds using filet crochet for spokes and a star surrounded by spider webs.

Doily has a filet type star in the centre, of 8 points. A circle of spiderwebs around the inner edge and fans on the outer edge. Fans have picots on every second space.
