SC: Single Crochet

Ch: Chain

HDC: Half Double Crochet

SLST: Slip Stitch

DC: Double Crochet

TRBL: Treble Crochet aka Triple Crochet

Materials:

Small amounts of different color yarn. You can use any yarn type that you want. If you use cotton yarn you may use this mandala as a trivet. I used I Love This Yarn from Hobby Lobby in pink and turquoise. This pattern can be made using more than two colors. Please see all photos for different color ideas.

Hook: size to match the weight of your yarn

Embroidery Needle: for weaving in ends

Not necessary but highly suggested: blocking mat and pins. This mandala looks much better once it is blocked.
