The Stars and Stripes Bookmark is based on one of my favourite stitches, the star stitch, and has a beautiful, textured finish. The pattern has some unique touches that will introduce you to techniques you may not have encountered before, and includes detailed photos and written instructions. It can be made with any 4-ply yarn, although cotton is recommended for durability. The finished product measures approximately 17 x 5.5cm.
