Stars Baby Blanket
-
The Pattern - A beautiful dark navy blanket knitted in st.st on the diagonal with a simple garter stitch boarder becomes the base for our blanket. Onto this individual stars are lovingly knitted separately in garter stitch. and then joined onto the blanket to create some lovely texture and our magical midnight sky.
-
This pattern is 4 pages long (Including 1 front page which is just Photos and Pattern name)
-
Measurements - When finished the blanket will measure approximately 70cm x 70cm (27.5” x 27.5”)
-
Materials - One pair of 4mm (no.6) circular knitting needles approximately 80cm in length. (For the blanket) One pair of 4mm (no.6) knitting needles for the stars. (The same circular knitting needles could be used but shorter needles would be easier to use for the small stars) Two 100g balls of Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK Navy (971) Yarn. 20g of Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK White (961) Yarn will be plenty to knit stars and sew onto the blanket. One darning needle or yarn sewing needle. Pins.
-
Please Note - Yarn companies are constantly discontinuing colours so they can offer new ones to their customers which unfortunately and very frustratingly is beyond my control. Therefore, the yarns given in the pattern are just a suggestion and what was used in the patterns pictured. If you find any of the colours have been discontinued or hard to come by any DK yarn from any brand of a similar colour will work too.
