This blanket is crocheted using the tapestry crochet method, this is a fantastic technique for crochet projects with colour changes as there are no ‘floats’ of the colour not in use. The colour that is not in use is trapped inside the work making for a lovely neat finish.

This pattern includes instructions on how to make this blanket in 3 different sizes, Standard Size, Large Size and Extra Large Size.

You can use any 4 Ply yarn with corresponding crochet hook, or you could use a DK weight yarn with a corresponding hook to make the blanket, this will of course result in a bigger blanket.

We have used Pro Yarn to make the blanket here with a 3mm crochet hook. If you are using Pro Yarn you will be using two strands held together for the whole blanket.

Large size measures approximately 78 x 98 cm
