Starstruck Project Bag
This project bag can be made with any weight yarn, and you can make it in one solid colour, add a coordinating colour, multiple colours, stripes, self-striping, etc! This pattern is fully customizable size-wise, and utilises the (optional) thermal stitch to prevent overstretching on the handle.
Pattern Features include:
clear and descriptive photo tutorials on the star and thermal stitches, options for sizing, options for yarn type, options for handle style, add a button, liner, zipper, etc.
Recommended Yarn: Any type of cotton will work! I suggest bernat home dec, bernat maker outdoor, lionbrand yarn re-up cotton, Lily sugar n cream cotton, bernat handicrafter
Adjust your hook size to whatever is recommended size on your yarn’s label.
I prefer non-variegated for this pattern as it shows off the star stitch better than multi-colour.
Skill level:
Intermediate but there are detailed instructions included for beginners
The pattern is written is such a way that you can make it suitable for any size with any weight yarn. My preferred yarn and size is made with bernat home dec with a 6mm hook, uses less than one skein, and those stitch counts are included at the end of each round in brackets. Gauge is not important for this project.
