Starswept Mitts
Inspired by my supportive and infinitely talented creative accountability partner, these mitts are a fast, addictive knit. The daisy stitch used on the front of the mitts reminds me of a shower of stars in the night sky. The pattern is written for Magic Loop, but can be adapted for DPNs or small circumference circular needles. Whether you knit them up in a deep tonal yarn or neon speckles of color, I hope you find that they keep you toasty and warm throughout the winter.
These mitts are quite stretchy due to the stitch pattern. While I have them listed as having a 7” circumference, they fit well on a variety of hand sizes.
You may use any DK weight yarn. The mitts take approximately 160 yards (146 meters).
