This pattern expects that the reader has a basic understanding of crocheting amigurumi.

Measurements
Staryu will be about 12 cm (4 inches) tall. The size can be changed a bit by using a smaller or thicker thread and corresponding hook.

Materials

• Approximately 25g (or 50 meter) gold/yellow-brown yarn, worsted weight.
• Approximately 10g (or 20 meter) Red yarn, worsted weight.
• Approximately 10g (or 20 meter) Yellow yarn, worsted weight.
• I use a steel crochet hook size 4mm (size D, 3 ¼ mm regular US hook).
• Stuffing, like 100% polyester fiberfill.
• Wool/Tapestry needle.
• Scissors
• Stitch markers
