Stash-Berry Pi Shawl
Simple, straightforward, and eye-poppingly beautiful, the Stash-Berry Pi Shawl makes perfect use of those special skeins, the weirdo skeins & those scrappy skeins (magic cakes anyone?) that we all have lurking in our stash. This is a very basic pi shawl pattern that uses a few tricks to manipulate whatever yarns you choose in a fun & unique design that will help you bust through that extra yarn sitting in your stash.
Beginning at the center, you’ll alternate between holding yarns single & holding them double to create a marled effect and blend your yarns together. There’s no heavy-thinking going on here, just lots of color-play & stockinette in-the-round with minor increases along the way. Instructions are included for a knitted-on edging, but you can easily replace that with a few rounds of garter stitch if that’s more your style.
