Stash-o-motastic Mitts
by Donna Herron
This pattern is
available for free.
My New Year’s resolution was to find projects for those little balls of yarn and half-skeins that are left over after most of my projects. So for these cozy and colorful mitts, I used an array of worsted weight yarn, along with some dk weight and some bulky yarn, from my ever-decreasing stash. I’m really happy with how these funky colors came together in these fun mitts. My husband even loves these mitts and claimed them as his own! (So I made a pair for myself - photo 2)
You can pick your own collection of colors, and mix up the weights as you choose. You can even change the width of the patterns stripes to fit your fancy, creating mitts that are truly special. The only thing I would suggest is that your yarn be mostly worsted weight.
