Stashafras
Stash-a-fras is fun to knit, easy to wear, and the i-cords are a great way to use up your remnants. You can even enlist your kids or significant other to help make the i-cords (or tuck their yarn tails). It’s a fairly small shawl knit on big needles, so it knits up relatively quickly.
Overview: The two rows of i-cord fringe for this shawl are knitted as separate i-cords and then queued up on long circular needles in the order that the will be attached to the shawl. The shawl is knitted from the bottom on long circular needles using a contrasting seed stitch border with a stockinette stitch interior panel whose rounded bottom is shaped using short rows.
Yardage varied considerably depending upon yarn choice. Woolly yarns are recommended.
