The Static Haze sweater is an all-over colorwork, choose your own adventure style sweater with a top-down, raglan construction. It is worked using a worsted yarn for the main color and three strands (two fingering and one lace weight) held together as the contrasting color, making it a perfect stash busting project. The yardages given are based on this arrangement, although you could easily substitute a single worsted strand or any other combination of yarns for the contrasting color as long as they meet gauge.

Construction
The sweater is initially knit flat, starting the colorwork right away, increasing at the raglan lines and gradually casting on stitches at the front neck until joining in the round after 12 rows. From there the yoke is worked in the round, continuing the raglan increases, until splitting for the body and placing the sleeves on hold. After knitting the body, the sleeves are picked up and knit. Finally, stitches are picked up around the neckline to knit the neckband.

Sizing
This pattern is designed to have approximately 4” (10cm) of positive ease at the full bust. However, for a more accurate fit in the neck and shoulders, I recommend fitting according to your upper bust size and working a bust adjustment if needed.

This pattern includes 19 sizes split into 3 separate pattern documents. Range A: 1 (2, 3, 4) 5, 6, 7, Range B: 8 (9, 10) 11, 12, 13, and Range C: 14 (15, 16) 17, 18, 19. Each size also includes instructions for 3 different sleeve lengths.

Untested sizes disclaimer
This pattern has been test knit, but I was not able to find any testers for sizes in Range C, sizes 14-19. I still wanted to release this as a fully inclusive pattern, so these sizes are included in the pattern purchase. If you are planning to knit one of these sizes and are interested in receiving a free copy in exchange for providing feedback, please reach out to me, and we can set that up.
