Mosaic Crochet Blanket Pattern

This pattern is designed for overlay mosaic crochet technique, but it can be adapted for inset or interlocking techniques as well.
This design can be worked in rows and in rounds from center out. If you prefer to work in rounds, you can make a blanket by joining squares together or as one large square with endless repeat.

The pattern includes 2 files:
File 1:
chart and written instructions for a single mosaic square

Chart and written instructions for endless repeat worked in round.

File 2:
chart and instructions of the pattern worked in rows.

File 3:
separate PDF file for a large printable chart for 5x5 repeats worked in rounds

• Each repeat is 38 stitches and 38 rows.

• My sample blanket is made of 4x4 repeats and the border, and measures 46”x46”. I used 54 ounces of yarn Red Heart Super Saver, 4 skeins of each color using 5mm hook.
The blanket can be made with any type of yarn.
