Steek a set of Coasters
Cut your knitting? Are you SILLY? Why would anyone do that? Well, knitting stranded colorwork is easier in the round. Not to mention that yarn tension is usually more consistent in the round as well. And each pair of coasters you knit up gives you TWO chances to cut a steek.
This small project is perfect for learning to cut a steek because it is less knitting commitment and you can work your way up to the sweater you’ve always wanted to make into a cardigan.
Grab one or two colors in worsted weight wool yarn and get ready to make some oversized coasters.
You’ll need a little more than 50 grams of each color for two coasters.
If you’re not a fan of stranded colorwork, make them with one color. The pattern works both ways.
