Steek Practice Hat and Bag
These are ideal projects for trying at steeking. The bag has a facing which covers the edges of the steek, and the steek on the hat becomes the back seam after the brim is knitted to and fro.
These items were originally designed as practice pieces for the Hoswick Jacket, but they stand alone.
The designs are also useful for playing with your own colour schemes, and can easily be made with odds and ends of yarn remaining from other projects.
