Stegosaurus was a herbivor and a quadruped. He had 16 plates along his back, 4 spikes on his long tail and a very small head to body ratio. Scientists have speculated that stegosaurus may have used its plates to regulate their heat in the very hot Late Jurassic time period.

This pattern is written in US English. This stegosaurus pattern features 4 plate sizes, spikes, 5 toed front legs and 3 toed hind legs just like stegosaurus.
