I made this for my nephew who lives close to Syracuse, NY … COLD, WINDY and SNOW ! ! !

I wanted the hat to be warm so I used two strands of yarn and the ribbing to be tight so it would fit tightly over his ears to keep them warm.

This hat can easily be adapted to one strand of yarn and a loser ribbing.
