Steibis is a fun to knit colorwork sock pattern, using stranded knitting.
You have the choice between two colors or four. For the colorwork contrast colors, scraps would be perfect.

The colorwork part in the leg makes the leg a lot less stretchy than the rest of the sock, especially if you do the 4-color version. If you feel like it might be a tight fit, there is a modification given in the pattern to make this part bigger.

The pattern is written for an adult sized sock, but you can easily modify the pattern to be smaller or larger.
