A soft, slouchy beret with a simple lace pattern and whimsical top knit in light worsted yarn, worked from the bottom up the hat can be more or less slouchy to suit individual tastes. Sized to fit a woman’s medium.

1 skein of light worsted to DK weight yarn at 200 yards (Madelinetosh Tosh DK in wash colorway pictured)

Needles

1 pair of U.S. size 6 (4.0 mm) circular needles and U.S. size 8 ( 5.0 mm) double point needles

1 stitch marker for marking beginning of round tapestry needle for weaving in ends
