Stella the Amigurumi Butterfly
Body measures about 5 inches tall, so she is ideal for small hands! So many ways to make a unique Stella! Using variegated yarn for the wings would be amazing! I used worsted weight yarn using an E hook. Make sure to really use that poly-fil to fill the body and head as you work every few rounds. I can’t wait to see your very own Stella!
.
Materials:
E - 3.50mm crochet hook
Medium Worsted weight (#4) yarn
-I used :
Hobby Lobby I love this yarn for the body and wings
I used Black cotton yarn for the mouth, and antennas (Black acrylic also works. Cotton is what I had on hand.)
Light Pink - for the cheeks. (optional)
2 - 10mm Safety Eyes
Yarn needle
Scissors
Stitch markers (highly recommend this extra piece of yarn works great) X2
Poly-fil - I use the ones for doll making
(Optional) Blush or paint for the cheeks. Add a little at a time. Or use Pink yarn.
