The ButterflyLove pdf Stem Cell knitting pattern gives you clear step by step instructions to make your own little cluster of cells.
This pattern only involves knitting flat and is suitable for a beginner knitter. You can also contact me at any point if you need technical advice or have any other queries. The finished stem cell is approximately 2.5 inches (7cm) in diameter if you work to the recommended tension.
What you will need:
2 knitting needles (US2.5/3mm or as per tension advice)
5g dark pink yarn per cell (Sirdar Snuggly DK 484 ‘Cherry Pie’)
10g medium pink yarn per cell (Sirdar Snuggly DK 481 ‘Perky Pink’)
Polyfil toy stuffing
2 plastic toy safety eyes (9mm)
1 tapestry needle for finishing
Skills used: Casting on and off, Increasing and Decreasing, Applique (sewing)
Stitches used: Stocking stitch
