Step 3 - Slipover
Requires a Brother knitting machine with KnitLeader and punchcard, ribber optional.
This is a set of instructions for using a drawn pattern with the KnitLeader for a vest or slipover. As such, there is no specific yarn or gauge given. Also, the pattern itself is not attached to the electronic version. But, a diagram is given which would enable you to choose a suitable similar pattern or if you know how, draft one yourself.
The great thing about the pattern is the very comprehensive instructions for knitting it on the machine, with or without a ribber attachment. The pattern gives the tuck stitch card design and all the instructions for knitting the tension swatch, using the KnitLeader, ribbing, decreasing, making the V-neck etc -- in other words a great beginner pattern.
Also given later in the book are variations for two women’s versions with appropriate instructions.
