you can knit it with every yarn you like - the one I used is just a leftover from my stash. The pattern with bind offs and knitnups looks like a stair.

My version is 22 cm from side to side and measures 210 cm in the length (diagonal). It’s very stretchy and you can wind it twice around your neck.
