Stranded Socks
I have long admired the beautiful designs achieved with the Fair Isle knitting technique. Be it a simple geometric pattern or an elaborate paisley design, stranded knitting never fails to be eye-catching and stunning in nature.
These Stranded Socks feature a simple design that is easily memorized yet makes an impact. All the socks in the series are knit from top down with a modified Afterthought heel technique that I like to refer to as a “no worries” heel.
The pattern is written using the 2-circular-needle method, which is easily changed to using DPNs or 1 long circular needle for magic loop.
