Stepping Stones Scarf
This is a unique design, while still being simple enough that you can work away without a massive amount of concentration.
Linked double crochet (US) forms the basis of the pattern with Intarsia colour change across certain rows.
This is a great stash buster project. I used Dk weight yarn but other yarn weights could be used. The end size will vary dependent upon yarn weight and hook size.
Crochet terminology: Both US and UK
Materials:
4mm hook
C1= 1x Stylecraft Special Dk. Parchment Col 1218. 100g 295m per ball (Click here for supplier) . Approximate amount used 380m/415.5yd if gauge is met.
C2= 1x Stylecraft Special Dk. Silver, Col 1203. 100g 295m per ball. (Click here for supplier) Approximate amount used 177m/193.5yd if gauge is met.
C3= 1x Stylecraft Special Dk. Mocha Col 1064. 100g 295m per ball. (Click here for supplier). Approximate amount used 177m/193.5yd if gauge is met.
C4= 1x Stylecraft Special Dk. Camel Col 1420. 100g 295m per ball. (Click here for supplier). Approximate amount used 177m/193.5yd if gauge is met.
